Always, there are dozens of business or personal contacts in your iPhone. It is a good habit to backup your iPhone contacts with iTunes in case the contacts being deleted accidentally. But if the iPhone lost unfortunately, or you delete the contacts by mistake without backup, things become more complex. You need third party software to recover your lost contacts.

Situation 2, mistakenly delete the iPhone contacts without backup
In this situation, you can recover the iPhone contacts directly from your iPhone. Just follow the steps as below.
Step 1, Connect iPhone (Now only support iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4) to your computer, start the iPhone Contact Recovery program.
Step2, Enter the DFU mode for your iPhone
Hold your iPhone and click "Start" button.
Press "Power" and "Home" buttons simultaneously for exactly 10 seconds.
After 10 seconds, release "Power" button, but keep holding "Home" for another 10 seconds.
The program will scan you iPhone after entering the DFU mode.
Step 3, Preview your iPhone contacts with the scanning result, and get back the contacts you deleted by mistake!
Note: If you deleted contacts accidentally, it is highly recommended to stop adding any new contacts to your iPhone in case the data overwritten! The data overwritten will decrease the recovery rate!
